Into the 4th Dimension (live looping debut)

Thanks to Mana'o Radio for providing a wonderful place for the One Mouth Band to debut a new part of the act -- live looping! With a great little tool called an Echoplex Digital Pro, Sam is now able to record and playback his voice on stage, creating a layered/multi-track effect live. This nifty gadget doesn't change anything about the way he sounds, it simply allows him a new way to become his own backup band, adding to the existing act. Of the hour long live show for the thousands of Mana'o listeners on Maui and online last night, three looped songs were debuted. They were:

• Can't Stop the Rain (Los Lobos)
• Come Ye (Nina Simone)
• Walking in Your Footsteps (The Police)

Each song went over very well, which is a great encouragement for more looping to come. Thanks to everyone that tuned in to hear it!
