Holiday shopping just got easier

Holiday shopping is in full swing as seen in the long lines, gluttonous sales, and inescapable decorations in all the stores. Lucky for you The One Mouth Band has a few suggestions on what to buy online!

  1. NEW PRODUCT: INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE FLOSS - Just in time for the Holidays, here’s One Mouth Band Instrument Maintenance Floss! Twelve yards of this specially packaged Reach dental floss can be yours for just $2.50 (plus S&H). Makes a great tongue-in-cheek (band-in-mouth?) stocking stuffer!
  2. MRS. CLAUS IN MENOPAUSE - Sam’s longtime girlfriend, Mary Keydash, has produced the season’s “hot-flashiest” tune, and guess who sat in? Hear a clip of this hilarious single online, then buy a copy to soothe the suffering of someone you love at a mere $3 (plus S&H).
  3. ONE MOUTH BAND CD - This will likely be the last Christmas that you can buy copies of Sam Rogers’ solo debut CD “One Mouth Band”. Between the recent nomination for “Best Vocal Jazz Album” at the Just Plain Folks Awards and seasonal vendor orders, stock is running low. And with all production efforts going into a new album, there are no plans to press any more of this live, solo a cappella CD. They're still just $12 (plus S&H).
  4. T-SHIRTS - Also in limited supply this year are the One Mouth Band T-shirts. These black, 100% cotton, Hanes "Beefy T's" sport the One Mouth Band logo on the chest and are available in Small, Medium, and X-Large sizes for $16 (plus S&H). Large and XX-Large have already SOLD OUT.
  5. LIPBIZ - Fortunately, there is still plenty of LipBiz to go around your lips and those of the beatboxers and vocal percussionists you love. Use all you want, we’ll make more. At just $5 (plus S&H) this makes a great stocking stuffer too!

JPF Awards Recap

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to Saturday night's webcast performance at Martini Blues! For those who didn't watch, Sam made quite an impression with the other JPF nominees by singing "One Mouth Band" and "Night and Day" as only he can. Compliments and connections abounded.

The 2004 Just Plain Folks Awards experience was a wonderful one, even though Sam did not win the award for "Best Vocal Jazz Album" this year. That award went to a very deserving Brooke Fox who also gave a stunning performance at the awards show. It truly was an honor just to be nominated. As it turns out, with the number of submissions received by the Just Plain Folks organization compared to the Recording Academy, it is actually more likely that one would be nominated for a Grammy than a JPF award! Go figure!
