Into the 4th Dimension (live looping debut)

Thanks to Mana'o Radio for providing a wonderful place for the One Mouth Band to debut a new part of the act -- live looping! With a great little tool called an Echoplex Digital Pro, Sam is now able to record and playback his voice on stage, creating a layered/multi-track effect live. This nifty gadget doesn't change anything about the way he sounds, it simply allows him a new way to become his own backup band, adding to the existing act.

Of the hour long live show for the thousands of Mana'o listeners on Maui and online last night, three looped songs were debuted. They were:

• Can't Stop the Rain (Los Lobos)
• Come Ye (Nina Simone)
• Walking in Your Footsteps (The Police)

Each song went over very well, which is a great encouragement for more looping to come. Thanks to everyone that tuned in to hear it!

One Mouth Band on Mana'o Radio Tonight!

Upon hearing that The One Mouth Band was returning to the beautiful island of Maui, the Mana'o Radio crew were quick to extend an invitation for Sam to return to their airwaves for a full hour of their weekly "Club Mana'o" broadcast. Maui locals already know to tune to 91.5 from 5-6PM. For those of you who are "off-island", tune your computer to ManaoRadio.com at the appropriate hour and join the 10,000 to 15,000 listeners enjoying the music of the One Mouth Band! (For those back home on the West Coast, this is from 7-8PM, and for anybody listening from Greenwich it's 5-7 AM Monday morning.)

Maui-bound again
